“Where and when you are cold, there and then I bring warmth; where and when you are uncertain, there and then I am encouraging; and where and when you feel lost in the darkness, there and then I bring the light.”
During the wedding planning process, Ali and Matt started to feel overwhelmed. So they scrapped their plans for a big party, started over, and decided on an intimate celebration with fourteen of their closest family and friends. Not far from where they live, a wooded park on Bainbridge Island was the perfect backdrop for their small ceremony. Their vows had us all laughing and crying, and as Ali said, “Our path to meeting is one for the books.” Given their personal and unique journey, it’s only fitting their reception at Heyday Farm reflected those same themes… flowers foraged from the island they love so much, sharing their first dance on the cool grass, and an amazing four-course dinner under string lights and stars.
“I vow to remember the lessons you’ve taught me: that life is meant to be lived, that adventure is meant to be shared, and fear is irrelevant when the person you love is by your side.”
