Tyler saw Sarah’s picture on a friend’s phone, and that was all it took for him to know he had to meet her. Their relationship developed over phone calls and text messages, and Sarah says the first time they saw one another in person, they knew they wanted to do life together.
While their wedding was definitely a joyful celebration of their love, it was also a celebration of family and the lives of those they’ve lost. Sarah’s father passed away during the year leading up to the wedding, and it was such a special moment in the ceremony when Tyler addressed Sarah’s family and said how thankful he was that he was able to get her father’s blessing before he passed. It’s so true what one family member said in her toast, “Life is so precious.”
